Bar stools
Bar stools
Whether at the kitchen counter or in the party cellar - bar stools offer legs tired from standing a short breather. For a long time now, this seating option has not only been found in pubs and bars, where you can sit down and enjoy an after-work beer while chatting with the bartender. This elevated way of sitting has also found its way into living spaces and offers beautiful alternatives to the classic chair.
Skilfully placed, bar stools transform into counter stools that allow guests to talk and laugh with their hosts while they prepare the food. Of course, they can also be placed classically next to the bar table to also provide a seating option during the aperitif.
There are also various options to choose from when it comes to the design of the bar stools. Foldable models allow flexible use and can be stored in the cellar afterwards to save space. Upholstered bar stools with back and armrests offer a little more comfort and invite you to stay longer. Those who like it simple and practical go for the classic version with a wooden seat. There is something in our range for every area of use and every taste.
But how high is the ideal bar stool?
Overall, it can be said that there should be approx. 27-28 cm of space between the bar stool and the top edge of the table in order to be able to sit comfortably. If the tabletop is somewhat thicker, make sure that there is at least 10 cm between the top of the knee and the underside of the tabletop when sitting. A height-adjustable version can of course be adapted to the corresponding table height.
