Violan round seat cushion. For the first time, Metz Textil & Design breaks with its own tradition – but the company from Aschau am Inn does this for a good innovative reason and with a clear green conscience: Instead of using real wool felt, Metz Textil & Design opts for Violan, a purely plant-based felt developed through years of meticulous work. The material feels just as high-quality as soft merino wool felt, but is made from plant residues and wood fibers. As a seat cushion, the felt is sewn in two layers with decorative stitching, allowing the cushion to be used on both sides. Equipped with a padded inner lining, the cushion has a good grip but can only be hand-washed at 30 °C. In its round shape, this remarkable seat cushion adapts to all chairs and stools.
