Umage Asteria

Asteria LED Floor Lamp. The elegant handle of the optionally available pendant light inspired by the stars now allows the floor lamp to follow suit: Soren Ravn Christensen has designed not an extraordinary new piece for the Danish brand Umage, but rather playfully embraces minimalism. The flat, round shade is securely mounted on a metal stem that rests on a similarly round base. The latter can be leveled on uneven floors using small feet. The permanently integrated LEDs are gathered on the underside of the frosted disc, casting glare-free light downward and thus excellently illuminating a reading spot in an armchair or on the sofa, a desk, or a stylish side table. Additionally, the Asteria LED floor lamp from Umage cleverly conceals not only the switch on its lampshade but also a dimmer for individual adjustment of the light intensity.
