The Ridi-Lights LED light strip module VLM-STS 1000-7 is a power rail module designed for installation in the support rail VLTM. It consists of additional VLM modules that are profiled and made from galvanized steel sheet coated in white, silver, or black. The plastic-coated quick-release fastener is used for attachment to the support rail. The VLM modules can be variably placed between the device carriers VLG. An electrical adapter allows for flexible access to the power supply in the support rail.

The color and optical coding facilitate installation, while the mechanical coding prevents incorrect assembly (twist protection). The device carrier includes a universal power rail and a 5+2 conductor system (L1, L2, L3, N, SL plus two control lines for DALI) for accommodating spotlights with a 3-phase adapter. The purple color coding is intended for installation in VLTM-7 or VLTM-11. All 3 phases are wired, and phase selection is made at the spotlight adapter. The module can handle loads of up to 3 x 16A and 2 x 10A. The length of the device carrier is 1000 mm, and the usable length of the power rail L4 is 270 mm.
