Hardy felt ball rug. A rug made from 100% virgin wool – you could hardly wish for anything cozier and more homely for your beloved home! The Berlin company myfelt is fully dedicated to the development and production of these naturally beautiful and durable rugs. Essentially, each rug is based on two things: many New Zealand sheep that are sheared for wool production, and the support of a manufacturing workshop in Nepal. There, the wool is sorted, washed, dyed, and processed into balls using a patented method. These felt balls ultimately come together – almost like a wool-felt mosaic – to create a complete wool rug with its own distinctive color patterns: the Hardy felt ball rug as a wooly pebble-like foundation. For the largest formats, myfelt hand-sews up to 50,000 felt balls individually, always in strict compliance with fair trade and European labor protection regulations: each felt ball rug carries a "GoodWeave" label as a corresponding certification.
