Risa Felt Ball Rug. A rug made from 100% new wool – you could hardly wish for something more cozy and homely for your beloved home! The Berlin-based company myfelt is fully dedicated to the development and production of these naturally beautiful and durable rugs. Essentially, each rug is based on two things: many New Zealand sheep that are sheared for wool production, and the support of a manufacturing workshop in Nepal. There, the wool is sorted, washed, dyed, and felted into balls using a patented process. From these felt balls, a complete wool rug is created, resembling a wool-felt mosaic, with its own characteristic color patterns: the Risa Felt Ball Rug in exciting ochre yellow. For the largest sizes, myfelt has up to 50,000 felt balls individually sewn by hand, always adhering to fair trade and European labor protection standards: each felt ball rug carries a "GoodWeave" label as a corresponding certification.
