Risa Felt Ball Rug. A rug made from 100% virgin wool – you could hardly wish for anything more cozy and homely for your beloved home! The Berlin-based company myfelt is fully dedicated to the development and production of these naturally beautiful and durable rugs. Essentially, each rug is based on two things: many New Zealand sheep that are sheared for wool and the support of a manufacturing facility in Nepal. There, the wool is sorted, washed, dyed, and felted into balls using a patented process. These felt balls are then combined to create a complete wool rug, resembling a wool-felt mosaic, with its own distinctive color pattern: the Risa Felt Ball Rug in exciting ochre yellow. For the largest formats, myfelt has up to 50,000 felt balls individually sewn by hand, always adhering to fair trade and European labor protection standards: each felt ball rug carries a "GoodWeave" label as a corresponding certification.
