The Berlin company myfelt is fully committed to the development and production of these naturally beautiful and durable carpets. Essentially every carpet is based on two things: Many New Zealand sheep, which are sheared for wool production and the support of a manufactory in Nepal. There the wool is sorted, washed, dyed and milled into balls in a patented process. From these felt balls, a complete wool carpet with its own characteristic colour pattern is finally produced - quasi as a wool-felt mosaic: the Lotte felt ball carpet in a charming variety of colours. For the largest formats myfelt has up to 50,000 felt balls sewn individually by hand, always in strict compliance with economic fair trade and European occupational health and safety regulations: Each felt ball carpet bears a "GoodWeave" seal as a corresponding certificate.
