The wood finish is spruce with a rustic structured surface. As a natural product, wood may contain intentional cracks and knots. The old wood look resembles wood that has been stored for 100 years.

THERMO spruce is processed through a specially developed method where the spruce wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% biological. This process makes the wood much harder.

The wood is sourced from nearby sawmills in Bavaria and is from sustainable cultivation.
