Wood finish: spruce. As a natural product, cracks and knots are intentional. The old wood look resembles wood that has been stored for 100 years, featuring a unique design. The unusual surface treatment gives the wood a vintage appearance. The wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish, resulting in a slightly rustic structured surface.

THERMO spruce is processed through a specially developed method where the spruce wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives. It is 100% organic and becomes much harder through the THERMO process.

The bed has a floating appearance, and matching support slats for roll-up grids can be ordered as accessories. We use solvent-free, water-based varnishes, and the wood is sourced from nearby sawmills in Bavaria, ensuring sustainable cultivation.
