Wood finish: Spruce. Wood is a natural product; cracks and knots are intentional. The unusual surface treatment gives the wood a vintage look. The wood is limed, sanded black, and varnished with clear varnish. Matching trim and bed drawer can be ordered under accessories. The wood comes only from nearby sawmills in Bavaria.

We use solvent-free, water-based varnishes, and the wood is sourced from sustainable cultivation. Matching clamping cushions are available under accessories.

THERMO spruce: In a specially developed process, the spruce wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic. The wood becomes much harder through the THERMO process.
