The wood finish is spruce with a modern skid base in a white matte lacquer finish. The old wood look resembles wood that has been stored for 100 years, and the natural wood contains deliberate cracks and knots. The feet are white, and the cover color is black. The unusual surface treatment gives the wood a vintage appearance with a slightly rustic structured surface. The wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish, making each bed unique in design.

The wood is sourced from nearby sawmills in Bavaria and features four adjustable bed depths (18 / 16 / 13.5 / 11 cm). It has high abrasion resistance: imitation leather withstands over 100,000 abrasion cycles, while textured fabric withstands 30,000 abrasion cycles. Matching support slats for roll-up grids can be ordered separately.

The thermo spruce undergoes a specially developed process where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic and significantly harder. The wood is sourced from sustainable cultivation, and we use solvent-free, water-based varnish.

The bed is available from size 140x200 cm with a middle bar and features an upholstered headboard. It is produced in Germany with high quality.
