The old wood look resembles wood that has been stored for 100 years. As a natural product, the wood features intentional cracks and knots, along with a rustic structured surface. The cover color is anthracite, and the wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish. Each bed is unique, showcasing a slightly rustic textured surface. The unusual surface treatment contributes to the vintage appearance.

The wood is sourced from sustainable cultivation, using solvent-free water-based varnishes from nearby sawmills in Bavaria. The thermo spruce undergoes a specially developed process where it is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, resulting in a 100% organic product that becomes much harder through the thermo process.

This bed is only suitable for slatted frames with a fixed frame, and matching support slats can be ordered under accessories.
