Wood is a natural product; cracks and knots are intentional. The cover color is anthracite, and the unusual surface treatment gives the wood a vintage look. Each bed features a unique design, with wood that is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish, resulting in a slightly rustic textured surface.

The wood is sourced from sustainable cultivation, and the support slats for the slatted frame measure 2.5 x 2.5 cm. The abrasion resistance is over 100,000 cycles for imitation leather and 30,000 cycles for textured fabric. The bed is suitable for roll-up frames and slatted frames with fixed frames, providing a floating look.

The wood comes exclusively from nearby sawmills in Bavaria. The thermo spruce undergoes a specially developed process where it is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic and much harder. We use solvent-free, water-based varnishes.
