The wood finish is spruce, and as a natural product, cracks and knots are intentional, making each bed unique. The unusual surface treatment gives the wood a vintage look, with a limed, sanded black finish and clear varnish. It features a slightly rustic textured surface and is made from sustainably sourced wood, providing a floating look.

We use solvent-free, water-based varnishes. The bed is suitable for roll-up frames and slatted frames with fixed frames. Matching clamping cushions are available under accessories. The wood is sourced from nearby sawmills in Bavaria.

THERMO spruce is treated in a specially developed process where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic and much harder.
