The wood finish is spruce, and as a natural product, cracks and knots are intentional. It has a rustic structured surface that resembles wood that has been stored for 100 years, providing a floating optics effect. The cover color is anthracite.

The unusual surface treatment gives the wood a vintage look. The wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish.

The thermo spruce is processed using a specially developed method where the spruce wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic. The wood becomes much harder through this thermo process.

Matching support slats for roll-up grids can be ordered as accessories, starting from size 140x200 cm with a middle bar. The wood is sourced only from nearby sawmills in Bavaria, and we use solvent-free water-based varnishes.

The wood comes from sustainable cultivation and has a scrub resistance of over 45,000 scrub cycles. The bed includes a quilted headboard and is produced in Germany with high quality.

Surface treatment includes brushed and lacquered finishes.
