Marset Pleat Box 24

The concept of the Pleat Box is based on a play of forms, where the silhouette of a digital design of fabric folds has been transferred to ceramic material. On the outside, the ceramic lamp is available in white, brown, black, terracotta, and gray - a result of various recycled glazes. On the inside, the glaze is either glossy white, which creates rich light reflections, or gilded, which produces a particularly warm light. Pleat Box is the result of an initial collaboration between Xavier Mañosa, a ceramic artist from Barcelona, and Mashallah, a design studio from Berlin, with Marset.
