The decision has been made; you have bought some fantastic spotlights, ceiling lights, and, as the icing on the cake, a great pendant light for above the table. Conscious as you are, all these lights are energy-efficient and fitted with an LED light source. Proud of the result, you naturally also want to be able to dim the fittings for the finishing touch. But this is where the challenge begins: which dimmer is suitable for which type of LED light source? Lucide offers the solution: we have developed a universal LED dimmer that works with our fittings and light sources, but also with 90% of the LED lamps from other brands available on the market. Each type of 12 V or 230 V LED light source requires a separate control unit. The Lucide LED dimmer is equipped with a switching mechanism so that you have the choice of setting the dimmer to both leading edge (RL 5-150 W) and trailing edge (RC 5-300 W) controlled LED light sources. You can easily set the minimum and maximum dimming range using the built-in screw. In addition, the Lucide LED dimmer is supplied as standard with a slim and stylish cover frame in white. If you want to use a cover frame of your choice, this is also possible with the most well-known brands on the market, including Berker, Busch-Jaeger, Gira, Jung, Merten by Schneider, Niko, and Peha (an adapter is required for Busch-Jaeger and Niko, which is included with the dimmer).

Tip from Lucide: First, carry out a test setup. Flickering or humming of the lamps, the transformer, and/or the dimmer indicates an incorrect match. Test this before screwing the dimmer into the wall. Also, note the minimum and maximum load of the dimmer. Take a close look at your socket; the Lucide LED dimmer is only suitable for normal sockets with screw holes. No separate mounting clips are supplied, so the dimmer is not suitable for recessed sockets without screw holes.
