The Danish designer was inspired by a trip to Tivoli in Copenhagen, where colorful balloons and cotton candy, delightful old carousels, and shimmering fortune wheels swirl cheerful colors into stripes. Louis Poulsen offers the unusual shape that resembles a circus tent and a droplet in three sizes: All lights, painted white on the inside, reflect the light of a bulb that can be independently used and possibly externally dimmed, but they seem to direct the light more or less straight down to illuminate a table, counter, reading, or workspace.
