The traditional futon is a 13 cm thick bed mattress made of cotton. The addition of 5-10% polyester to the cotton ensures a higher density and thickness of the futon compared to traditional Japanese futon bed linen. Nevertheless, it still has all the good properties of a traditional Japanese futon. The traditional futon offers you firm sleeping comfort. The cotton in the futon moulds to your body and supports it. Please note that all futon products are handmade, so there may be small differences in size and weight.
