Made from renewable sources, these tatami mats are eco-friendly and durable enough to last up to 20 years with proper care. Use them for a Japanese-inspired tea room, combine them with one of the Karup Design bed frames or a futon mattress. Or let them become a beautiful design element by using them as a headboard for your bed or as a soft partition in your children's playroom. Tatami consists of a pressed core made from rice straw, covered with a woven mat made from the Igusa plant, which grows in Asia.
