Kartell Take
E14Product details
Take 2.0 table lamp. It consists of two mirror-image halves that are separated or joined in the centre by a rectangular plate. From one side it looks like a typical bedside lamp from the 1960s, but at a 90° angle it turns out to be a three-dimensional sculpture: the rectangle in the centre acts on the one hand as a partition between the two halves of the lamp, while on the other the strictly geometric element forms a frame for the typical bedside lamp shape. A fascinatingly revolutionised lamp design by Italian designer Ferruccio Laviani. The table lamp, which is not too high, is ideal as additional lighting in a living room or as a stylish bedside lamp. On the transparent versions, the shade is pleated on the inside, which means that the lamp shows beautiful light reflections when switched on. In contrast, the solid-coloured versions give the shape of the lamp a more sculptural appearance. Kartell now supplies the Take table lamp in environmentally friendly and sustainable polycarbonate 2.0 made from renewable raw materials.
