Product details

Masters Stool Bar Stool. As a tribute and in memory of the pioneers of their field, Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet designed this stool for Kartell. In its shapes and lines, Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet merge the signatures of Arne Jacobsen, Eero Saarinen, and Charles Eames into a single, thus unique stool. The inspiration for this piece comes from their chairs "Series 7," "Tulip," and "Eames Chair": the sweeping backrest and slender legs of Arne Jacobsen, the armrests designed by Eero Saarinen with his "Tulip" chair as "Armchair," and in the middle, the gentle curves of Ray & Charles Eames. Due to its overwhelming success, Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet elevate the conventional chair to a bar stool without altering the comfort features of the excitingly curved, airy, and futuristic arm and backrest construction. Additionally, the feet find support on the surrounding bracing of the legs. Kartell offers the weather-resistant Masters Stool Bar Stool in two seat heights, either pleasantly low (65 cm) or dizzyingly high (75 cm).
