Light Air Pendant Lamp. Eugeni Quitllet turns the conventions of lampshades upside down with his daring design for the Italian manufacturer Kartell: Instead of a traditional monk's cap holding the classically inspired lampshade, it floats seamlessly attached to a square frame made of laser-welded, smooth plastic. The conical shade appears classic in shape but enchants with a delicate embossed pattern. This charmingly prevents a clear view of the conventional socket (E14), into which any light bulb can be inserted according to taste. Kartell equips the modernly abstracted and thus quite airy Light Air Pendant Lamp with a warm glowing LED bulb (5 W) to enhance the radiant effect of the reflective plastic.
