Formally, Tom Kelley's round side table has a good portion of the late fifties: Four tapered but angular legs support a round tabletop. In terms of materials, the low table manufactured by Jan Kurtz fits into the ecologically correct here and now: its construction is based on solid oak, which gives a homely atmosphere in a naturally oiled or darkly stained finish. Jan Kurtz offers the Dweller coffee table in three sizes, two of which are convincing in the same height as a compact side table, flower stool or bedside table, or almost twice as large as a projecting sofa table. The third, slightly higher flower stool or bedside table also invites you to combine it freely with its lower table companions.
