Hoptimist - Bumble Mint, medium

Gustav Ehrenreich founded the cheerful Hoptimist movement in the late 1960s with a firm belief in the power of a smile. His goal was to create a figure that served as a constant reminder to stay positive and optimistic. Although the 60s are often referred to as "The Happy 60s," they were marked by unrest. Therefore, Ehrenreich's design was a welcome source of joy in an otherwise turbulent time.

The very first Hoptimists, Bimble and Bumble, were designed by Ehrenreich himself. Bimble, a girl in a school uniform with bright eyes, and Bumble, an attentive boy with a splint on his head, represent the origin of this movement. Today, the cheerful Hoptimists are an integral part of Danish design history and bring joy worldwide. They are available in four different sizes and a wide range of colors, bringing plenty of energy and good cheer.
