Hoptimist - Bumble Lavender, medium

Gustav Ehrenreich founded the cheerful Hoptimist movement in the late 1960s with a firm belief in the power of a smile. His goal was to create a figure that served as a constant reminder to stay positive and optimistic. Although the 60s are often referred to as "the happy 60s," they were marked by unrest. Therefore, Ehrenreich's design was a welcome source of joy in an otherwise turbulent time.

The very first Hoptimists, Bimble and Bumble, were designed by Ehrenreich himself. Bimble, a girl in a school uniform with bright eyes, and Bumble, an attentive boy with a splint on his head, represent the origin of this movement. Today, the cheerful Hoptimists are a staple of Danish design history, bringing joy worldwide. They are available in four different sizes and a wide range of colors, conveying plenty of energy and good cheer.
