The core beech is a type of older European beech. This beech naturally exhibits a reddish tint to the wood inside the trunk, which usually occurs only after 100 to 120 years. The wood of the core beech thus appears more striking and rustic than that of regular beech. Furniture made from core beech looks natural and unique.

The fabric cover is made of synthetic leather. The surface has the feel and appearance of genuine leather, yet it is vegan and very durable. The faux leather consists of a cotton blend fabric coated with 100% polyurethane, making it tear- and abrasion-resistant. Additionally, it can be processed seamlessly over large areas without dividing seams.
