The happy mattresses of the UP/SIDE/DOWN line were developed for three sleeping positions: supine position, side position, and prone position.

The happy SIDE mattress is the model for side sleepers.

In the side position, the happy SIDE mattress provides straight support for the spine, as the pelvic and shoulder zones are more elastic. The shoulder, upper arm, and pelvic areas can sink in ideally. The lumbar zone supports the lower back. This zoning ensures a straight spine and prevents incorrect posture during sleep.

The two sides of the mattress, one softer and one firmer, can be selected according to the desired lying sensation. The surfaces each have special, pressure-relieving cuts in the foam sheets. Thus, the pressure in the shoulder and pelvic zones is ideally distributed, and there are no pressure points that cause changes in sleeping position. The sleep phases can be passed through undisturbed, resulting in better recovery and well-being.

The high-tech EvoPoreHRC cold foam is particularly breathable due to its open-cell structure. Its production requires 30% less material than conventional cold foams and is 40% more dimensionally stable than cheap cold foams. This means special longevity, sustainability, and excellent moisture absorption.

The breathable mattress cover with HCS fiber for optimal moisture transport also supports a hygienic sleeping climate. The cover is washable at 60 °C.

To ensure that the head is positioned straight and the cervical spine is supported, a pillow with the appropriate height is recommended, ideally filling the area between the shoulder, neck, and head. The happy UP pillow, developed to complement this mattress, ensures correct posture and has a higher and a lower side, depending on shoulder width.
