Product details

The Fritz Hansen Kaiser Idell 6631-P pendant lamp by designer Christian Dell is one of the most famous lights from the Bauhaus school founded in Germany in 1919. It is made of hand-painted matte or high-gloss steel and polished, silver-soldered brass with globally patented solid swivel connections: a world-renowned, elegant design classic for life that everyone knows!

Christian Dell, born in 1893 and passed away in 1974, is one of the most notable representatives of the Weimar Bauhaus. As a master craftsman in the metal workshop at the Bauhaus in Weimar, he developed typically architecturally rational lights for industrial production alongside sculptor Marianne Brandt. However, in 1933 he had to cease his work under pressure from the Nazis and returned to the profession of silversmith after the war. Among Christian Dell's most famous works are the Kaiser Idell lamps developed for the Kaiser brothers.

The Fritz Hansen Kaiser Idell 6631-P design pendant lamp by Christian Dell is a solid piece of design history that will serve you faithfully for a lifetime.
