The futon cotton is the traditional Japanese sleep variant. It is used on tatamis, directly on the floor, on pedestals or on a surface without air circulation. The filling consists of 6 layers of pure cotton. Cotton is the traditional filling material for futons. Through daily use, this futon maintains its firmness and thus offers a firm sleeping comfort. Pure cotton futons should be rolled daily to ensure good ventilation. As the cotton compresses by up to 40% and expands in width and length, this futon is delivered slightly smaller, but reaches the complete lying surface after only 2-3 months.
