The "Elegant Mat" aluminium doormat with inlays and a raised edge or finishing edge is a professional alternative to a normal dirt-trapping mat or coconut mat at the front door - outdoors or in a covered entrance area. The aluminium and ribbed carpet doormat has two aluminium profiles. At the front is a bevelled, ribbed aluminium strip for trip-free walking, while on the opposite side towards the front door is a corresponding end strip that allows the mat to rest firmly against the door frame. Between these two aluminium profiles, a dirt-trapping mat with alternating carpet ribs and aluminium bars provides the actual function of a dirt mat.

The carpet strips retain moisture and fine dirt and the aluminium strips give the mat stability and also serve as additional dirt wipers. This combination makes the aluminium doormat a very handy, flat door mat on the one hand and an effective and efficient dirt barrier both outdoors and in the hallway behind the front door on the other.

The aluminium doormat is easy to clean and simple to handle: Wipe the aluminium profiles with a damp cloth, vacuum / brush out the inlay mat or simply spray with a water hose. Any dirt that falls through is swept away or picked up. Fits in front of almost any front door thanks to its low height.
