The Marble quality gets its name from the similarity of the carpets to a collection of marbles. The Marble carpets are made from a yarn that achieves its multicolored appearance through the space-dye technique. The wool yarn is felted, a process in which loose wool fibers are matted together through rubbing, water, and soap, resulting in a thick and stable yarn, which makes the carpets of high quality. The yarns are intricately connected and woven together, giving the surface its remarkable texture. The Marble quality is available upon request in any desired size.
