The crescendo alarm includes an integrated snooze and light function, a matte case and dial, as well as luminous hands. The Braun clock is automatically set and controlled by the DCF radio signal. The DCF radio wave signal is broadcast from Frankfurt, and the range of the DCF signal extends throughout Germany. The time code signal can be received up to 1500 km from Frankfurt and covers most of Central and Western Europe, including France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, and Northern Italy.
