The Braun clock is automatically set and controlled by the DCF radio signal. The DCF radio signal is broadcast from Frankfurt, and its range extends throughout Germany. The time code signal can be received up to 1500 km from Frankfurt, covering most of Central and Western Europe, including France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, and Northern Italy.
