Maintenance tips:
A handwoven carpet is naturally resistant to abrasions and can last for many years. Regular maintenance will keep the carpet looking brand new. The best way to remove dust and debris is to shake them off by hand. Place the carpet upside down on a cotton towel and pat it with an open hand; do not use a carpet beater as it may harm the leather. Additionally, the carpet should be brushed regularly with a special brush for upholstered furniture and carpets. Vacuuming should be avoided, but if necessary, set the vacuum cleaner to the lowest suction power. Rotate your rug 180 degrees to ensure all parts are exposed to light evenly. Fresh stains should be removed immediately using a damp, non-staining cloth, cleaning from the edge to the middle of the carpet to avoid spreading the stain. For difficult stains, scrub them off and then clean the spot with warm water.
