Artemide La Petite

La Petite LED table lamp. With this design, Andrea Quaglio and Manuela Simonelli clearly break with convention and combine the familiar in a geometrically surprising new way for the Italian lighting brand Artemide. In detail, a discreet joint holds the typically conical lampshade at a suspension point, with the strut connecting to the round base skilfully following a diagonal line. This trick not only balances the shade and base visually. The structure of the lampshade is also innovative: while the conical section made of lightweight plastic conceals the integrated LEDs, the two circular diffusers on the top and bottom provide soft direct and indirect light. Small but perfectly formed, the La Petite LED table lamp from Artemide provides enough bright light for reading, crafting and surfing at home.
