Artemide Eclisse Classic Table Lamp

Eclisse Classic Table Lamp. Designed by Vico Magistretti for the Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide in 1967, this technically sophisticated small sculpture features a rotatable outer three-quarter sphere reflector that allows the user to adjust the brightness of the chosen light source (E 14 socket) in a manner reminiscent of an eyelid. Vico Magistretti drew inspiration for his intricate lamp design from the moon and its waxing and waning phases. With its stable, almost hemispherical base and an inline switch, the Eclisse table lamp stands securely on any side table – even on a nightstand! Particularly as a reading light by the bed, the individually adjustable reflector provides the perfect light for both the reader and their sleeping partner.
