The "Swiss Guaranty VSB" label regulates the standards for the production of down duvets and feather pillows in Switzerland. This includes the use of down and feathers only from non-live plucked animals. The environmentally friendly production takes place in Switzerland or Liechtenstein, and the down and feathers are cleaned according to strict hygiene guidelines and dried germ-free at over 100 °C.
