The speciality of this paper lies in the grooves, which give the paper its relief-like surface and are very well suited as orientation lines for a straight typeface. Thanks to the special processing method, they also create beautiful effects when printing. Georges Lalo, a creative and ambitious young man, realised his dream of opening his own business in Paris in 1919. G. Lalo, manufacturer of luxury writing paper and envelopes, was born.
