I can only pump about 1/4 of what I pump with a Medela symphony pump, is it really an effective pump?

Hello, it was very effective for me, I pumped milk from the time my daughter was 2 weeks old until 8 months, with my older daughter I had the Medela pump, it was also great except that I didn't have my hands free.
