The drawer can be opened without any problems. It protrudes about 10 to max 15cm at the front and at the back.
It is screwed to the surface at the back and at the front from below.

I put it on my malm and it works very well. I've put it on my malm and it's fine, but the screws are a bit short, so you'll need slightly longer ones to make it hold. The quality is not great but it does the trick for the price.
I'm pretty sure there were screws involved.
Picture 4 and 6 are not correct - we were also confused at the time ;-) Position is freely selectable, we have mounted it in the middle of 2 chests of drawers.

Of course, it has to be the Malm chest of drawers from IKEA with a width of 80 cm. But I recommend the chest with 3 or 4 drawers.

It does not need nails or screws as it is placed on the chest of drawers. It should be noted that the depth of the chest of drawers is adapted to the accessory. It can therefore be easily removed without leaving any marks on the chest of drawers.
Sometimes the products are just too big or too bulky to pick up in the shop. Or they are not shipped from the central warehouse but from a sub-store.
