A soft cover that snugly fits around the changing pad is the most practical basic in your nursery essentials. The fabric is thick, soft, and stretchy. The elastic edges ensure that the cover stays securely in place on the pad. Without a cover, the changing pad can feel quite cold, and plastic is not very comfortable. A loose towel tends to slip off and doesn’t cover the edges properly. A standard muslin cloth is too small and too thin to fully cover the changing pad.
