TEAC PD-301DAB-X-B

The PD-301DAB-X is equipped with a compact, high-precision slot-load CD drive designed exclusively for professional audio applications. Thanks to the fast loading times and the automatic playback function, users can start enjoying music just moments after inserting a CD into the slot.

Conventional digital audio formats such as MP3 and WMA can be played from CD-ROM, CD-R, and CD-RW discs. Additionally, music files in AAC and WAV formats are supported when played from a USB flash drive inserted into the front USB port. The player can display ID3 tags, song titles, and artist names of MP3, WMA, and AAC files on its LCD display.

The PD-301DAB-X is equipped with a high-performance DAC (digital-to-analog converter), BurrBrown's PCM5142, which provides silky smooth audio reproduction. Using aluminum panels for the front, sides, and top of the player, the PD-301DAB-X offers exceptional rigidity, minimizing the negative impact of unwanted vibration on sound quality. All this is packed into a cabinet with a tiny footprint of just 215mm x 232mm, allowing the unit to sit comfortably on even the smallest desk.

Unlike most other CD players, the PD-301DAB-X also features a DAB/FM tuner module in its compact chassis. In addition to the conventional analog audio outputs, audio from the built-in DAB/FM tuner is also output from the digital audio outputs via both the coaxial and optical connectors. These connectors also deliver digital audio from CD. Please note that the digital audio output format is PCM 44.1kHz/16-bit, regardless of the resolution of the original source.

Included with the PD-301DAB-X is a compact card remote control.
