This cable supports a maximum bandwidth of 40 Gbit/s, which can correspond to a resolution of 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz, 5120 x 2880 at 120 Hz, or 3840 x 2160 at 240 Hz, with a color sampling of 4:2:0.

Lower refresh rates can achieve a higher color sampling.
