    Perfect for the home studio

    I worked with the Technics MKII for many years. However, I have now decided in favour of the Pioneer DJ PLX-500 for my home studio because it offers better value for money. Another plus point is the USB connection so that I can digitise my beloved vinyl records directly.

    Semi-automatic ?

    Semi-automatic is when the tone arm itself goes back. Otherwise a great model. A needle recommendation for shellac is missing, though.
