ASUS USB 3.0 HZ-3 Docking
Micro USB, 10 Ports
The product is still a popular purchase, even though it has neither USB-C nor Displayport, but still has a DVI-I port :D.
This docking station has only caused problems and is far too expensive - hands off. I thought that an ASUS product for my ASUS Zenbook would be a sensible combination, but was very disappointed. There are many critical reviews of this product. Alternative: i-tec USB 3.0 Dual Full HD Dock, costs Fr. 101 here at Digitec, has been running perfectly with our laptops for about 3 years and has a normal mains plug. Plug it in - and it runs. You can stand it up or lay it down - perfect.
Good morning, I have a resolution of 1920 x 1080 on both the ASUS UX31A ultrabook and the 24 inch screen. As far as I understand the principle of the docking station, it passes on the resolution that the laptop has. I don't think it is technically possible to increase the resolution. The resolution is determined by the laptop's graphics card. ASUS service was also very weak with me. I would not buy this docking station again today. Greetings and good luck Lm
Contact Digitec customer service, they will help you.
It works perfectly with the USB 3.0 port of a seven year old Asus laptop and a six month old HP laptop. With the supplied external power supply, it can charge various devices with its USB ports.
I had this thing in use for a few years and was only annoyed with it. The thought ASUS fits ASUS unfortunately proved to be wrong. It kept hanging up and the USB ports went bye-bye. A few months ago it "slipped the lid" and I got rid of another, much cheaper solution with which I am highly satisfied: i-tec U3HDMIDVIDOCK This is now in use at two workstations. You can also lay it down.
Good day. According to the manufacturer, the product is compatible with Asus. Unfortunately, I do not know whether it is compatible with the model you mentioned.
Should already be compatible, but the docking station is unfortunately already sold out.
I have an ASUS with Win10 and have to connect the monitor directly via HDMI to the notebook via docking station is unfortunately not possible, because the docking station only supports FullHD resolution but not more... I assume that the XPS 13 can do more....
Hello Yes, this works without any problems. The dock is connected with a USB 3.0 cable and you have 2 USB 3.0 ports on your notebook. The only difference is that the dock is 33.5 cm wide and the laptop is 41.3 cm wide, so it's not necessarily stable. Greetings Mauri
Yes the drivers were released a few days ago. I can use the docking station with Windows 10 without any problems.
