This docking station has only caused problems and is far too expensive - hands off. I thought that an ASUS product for my ASUS Zenbook would be a sensible combination, but was very disappointed. There are many critical reviews of this product.
Alternative: i-tec USB 3.0 Dual Full HD Dock, costs Fr. 101 here at Digitec, has been running perfectly with our laptops for about 3 years and has a normal mains plug. Plug it in - and it runs. You can stand it up or lay it down - perfect.
