The HDMI 2.0 to DisplayPort 1.2 converter is designed to convert 18G HDMI 2.0 signals into DisplayPort 1.2 signals and to separate high-quality analog stereo audio signals from digital SPDIF audio signals. The converter is ideal for demanding applications that require high bandwidth conversion. This is often needed in the professional AV sector when source devices do not have native support for DisplayPort output.

The converter supports resolutions up to 4096x2160@60Hz. The EDID management additionally provides the option to set resolutions of 3840x2160@60Hz or 30Hz and 1080p@60Hz on the source device to avoid compatibility issues - perfect for a hassle-free installation.

Please note that this is not a bidirectional converter. It only works from an HDMI source to a DisplayPort output device.
