Hagstrom Fantomen

In close collaboration, Hagstrom's design team and the Swedish band Ghost developed the Fantomen (Swedish for Phantom). This guitar combines Hagstrom's legendary playability with a technical sophistication that caters to all sound expectations of the hardcore genre. The starting point is an asymmetrically shaped body made of solid mahogany and a mahogany neck, which is connected to the body using our signature dovetail system. Like many Hagstrom guitars, the Fantomen features our H-Expander® truss rod and is equipped with a Resinator® fingerboard, which not only stabilizes the neck but also significantly contributes to the guitar's rich tone. These components provide a solid foundation for a versatile and perfectly responsive sound.
